1.  General Information

This website, www.travel2romania.com, is owned and operated by Eastern European Experience, a fully licensed tour operator recognized by the Romanian Ministry of Tourism.

Our agency holds a valid Tourism License and is covered by a Travel Insolvency Protection Insurance, ensuring all clients are financially protected in the unlikely event of agency insolvency.

By accessing and booking services through this website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

2.  Booking and Payment

All tours listed on this website can be booked online and are subject to availability. Full payment is required at the time of booking.

• All payments are securely processed via Stripe, using major debit or credit cards.
• A 2.5% card processing fee applies to all payments made by credit or debit card.
• Once payment is successfully completed, you will receive a confirmation email with your booking details.
• Prices are shown in EUR and include all applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

3.  Cancellations and Refund Policy

We understand that plans may change. You may cancel your booking and request a full refund under the following condition:

• Free cancellation is available up to 72 hours before the scheduled start time of the tour.
• To cancel, please contact us via email at office@easterneuropeanexperience.com with your booking details.
• Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the tour start time will not be eligible for a refund.
• In case we are required to cancel a tour for operational reasons (e.g., minimum number of participants not met), you will be offered a full refund or an alternative date.

4.  Tour Modifications and Delays

• We reserve the right to make minor adjustments to the tour itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, traffic, local holidays).
• If a tour is cancelled by us for any reason, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

5.  Group and Custom Tours

For private groups, corporate clients, or fully customized itineraries, special terms and conditions may apply. Please contact us directly for a personalized offer and specific contract details.

6.  Travel Insurance and Responsibility

• While we do our best to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, Eastern European Experience is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage sustained during the tour.
• We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain personal travel insurance before the tour.
• Clients are responsible for arriving on time and behaving respectfully during the tour. Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the tour without refund.

7.  Use of Personal Data

All personal information submitted during the booking process is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, and only used for the purpose of providing the requested service.

8.  Pricing Errors and System Malfunctions

In the event of technical errors, system malfunctions, or incorrect price displays on our website, Eastern European Experience reserves the right to correct such errors, cancel affected bookings, or adjust the price accordingly.

If a booking is cancelled due to an obvious pricing or system error, the client will be notified immediately and will receive a full refund of any amount paid.

9.  Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Romania, and any disputes shall be handled in Romanian courts.

10.  Liability and Force Majeure

Eastern European Experience shall not be held responsible for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, civil unrest, government actions, pandemics, or technical failures of third parties (e.g., transport providers).

In such cases, we will make all reasonable efforts to offer alternative arrangements, but no additional compensation will be due.

11.  Third-Party Services and Links

Some tours may include services provided by third parties (e.g., transportation, accommodation, local guides).

Eastern European Experience acts only as an intermediary and is not responsible for any act, omission, or negligence of third-party providers.

Any external websites linked on www.travel2romania.com are provided for convenience and are not under our control.

12.  Complaints and Dispute Resolution

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your tour, please inform your guide or contact our office as soon as possible so we can attempt to resolve the issue on the spot. Formal complaints must be submitted in writing within 14 days of the tour end date.

We aim to resolve all complaints amicably; however, unresolved disputes shall be handled according to Romanian law and jurisdiction.
