Delve into the culinary culture of Bucharest on a 4-hour walking tour in the Romanian capital. On this private tour, you will immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the old town of Bucharest. Along the way you will get to know some of the most important historical places in the old town, such as Manuc’s Inn, Princely Court, Lipscani Street, and the Romulus and Remus Roman Monument.
We were picked up at our hotel which was the reason I picked this tour. The car too small for 2 of my taller travelers in group We squeezed in like “sardines in a can”. We saw lots of sights by car for 10 mins & then started our walking tour. 1st we had “pies” which are like burritos. 2nd was wine tasting with 5 bottles for 5 people! Wow! Great wines. Beautiful charcuterie board fit for a King. 3rd was 113 year old beer hall named Caru cu bere. Then the Guide said he was leaving us & to use our own Uber app to get home when we finished dinner. I brought a printed itinerary showing that the tour included dropping us off at our hotel. This was the 2nd time I told the guide about that & the 2nd time he tried push the responsibility & payment for the Uber back onto us. He said he would have to call mngmnt & let us know. He came back & told us he ordered the Uber @ Starbucks 4 blocks away. We had only 45 mins to eat lg fantastic dinner & catch Uber. Food tour excellent but unethical at end.
Amazing got to see new places around and with light so beautiful will do it again
Good tour, good guidance, good food. Price/performance seems a bit high to us.
